ATTN : "Leopard" (OS X 10.5) Users

Since upgrading to Apple's fancy new OS (which Mikey and Rev. Mitcz are now using for development here on Vlaze) you may have noticed that our multiple file uploader isn't quite working. It's a minor bug with the "FileRef" function. No need to worry what that means, though.Adobe has released a new Flash player that fixes that particular bug (and speeds up some other things, and adds some fancy new "beta" features). We strongly recommend all users of OS X 10.5 upgrade their Flash player.
Keep That Social Door Open

So, if you're not a regular reader of Wired (online or in print), you may have missed a fascinating article they posted today. It talks about how MySpace/Facebook intrinsically "lock-out" unregistered users from their site, so information you plug into the site is often only viewable by the community itself. Facebook is the biggest offender in this arena (something that's personally been a thorn in my side, and the very reason I've never bothered to register there). We're not here to rip on al

Temporary Content Removal

First, the good news : we're growing like wildfire. We're 12,000 strong and growing (ya know, like Flintstones Vitamins) and we're taking yet another opportunity to say thanks! However, there's bad news as well.Due to our growth in popularity, we've attracted the attention of some people who feel that their content was added to our site without their permission. They've highlighted some content on the site that they feel is breaching their intellectual copyrights, and for now - we're looking into

Just a quick note, cause we're all giddy in our pants. We launched this site just barely 4 months ago, and as of last week - we breached..
10,000 usersThis has been a cause for celebration around here, and we wanted to take the time to thank you all for joining the site, using the site, and having fun with it. Everyday, we get more registered users than the day before it. That's a lot of fun to see.Anyway - quick note about some "hidden" changes we've made recently, mostly as a test :1. Video

First and foremost : HUGE thank you to all of you. We're getting more and more members everyday, and we're getting lots of great praise (and seeing some REALLY cool content get uploaded). A special thank you to all of you who've taken the time to fill out the survey - it's given us a great insight on our userbase, and I think you're gonna love what we're doing next.Anyway, we wanted to make a quick announcement about 2 of the most recent changes :VIDEO PLAYER INTERFACEYou may or may not have not

About That Survey..

You may have noticed that we've replaced the banner in our header with an internal banner requesting you to fill out our Official M+ Usability Survey. We've had some great responses thus far, and we've had a few questions thrown our way. So, we just wanted to clear up a few things..What's the purpose of the survey?Think of it as our report card, and you're our teacher. Fill it out as completely and honestly as you feel is necessary. We're looking for good and bad responses here - so be as brutal

Subscriptions Galore

So, we made a pretty major change/update this morning - something we've been working on for a few weeks, and we wanted to draw your attention to it real quick.SUBSCRIPTIONSWhen you joined the site, you were automatically "friended" by Mikey, RevMitcz (myself), and MusicPlusTV. In addition, you were automatically subscribed to our blogs, and to the M+ Development blog. We did this so you could get used to the idea of subscribing and see how it worked. Also, it's helpful for you to know what's up

Sort Your Friends! Impress Your Enemies!

One of the most requested features since we first launched this sucker
has been the ability to sort your friends that appear on your channel.
So-called "top friends". Today - IT HAS BEEN DONE. Go now, sort some friends! Head over to your page, scroll to your friends list and hit the "sort & edit friends"
button. From there, it should be pretty self-explanatory. Just remember
- changes to the order of your friends (just like is the case w/your
content editor) are not committed unti
